I can imagine that weight painting would be extremely hard if you are colour blind.

A friend sent me a test to see if you are colour blind once, but it was actually a screamer (you know, when you have to look at something and suddenly a scary picture comes up and a very loud scream ). I was so angry.

But I did laugh.

Anyway, I moved the braid and the bones to another layer and pressed Ctrl +P, but I could not choose this: Armature from Bone heat.

Install the latest Blender Importer Version 1.3 alpha from here

I have not say "I am colour blind" But Matty have right, i can also not see colors

With the new armature, please wait. I make some images and post this in the evening.

Hint: Select first the mesh. Then select the Armature. Not on the other way And i make a whole new Armature for the braid and join and connect this with Lara - for better result's.
  1. Select first the mesh.
  2. Hold <Shift> and select the armature.
  3. In the 3D View header, select Object->Parent->Make Parent.
  4. From the next pop-up, choose "Create From Bone heat".

The problem:
Assasins has contact me and send me his model, because he has a problem.
He can export the .ascii from Blender with no warnings, but XNALara crashes, when he loads the model.
So, I tried too.
I export the .ascii with no warnings, but my mesh works fine in XNALara!
I didn't touch the mesh, I just exported it!
Can someone explains what happens here?
Assasins is using the latest version of exporters.

It's a blender file, maybe you should download it and see what happens to you.
DO NOT use Assasins model in any other way, except from testing!

Ich kann das Model problemlos konvertieren, aber nicht "Assasins" !
Eine tolle Kombination der Modelle "lara_croft_rebel" von dizzydoil & sharon_14 , "lara_friday_casual" von sharon_14 und "Amanda_Punk_Girl" von o0Crofty0o

Funktionier auch bei mir
Ohne das .mesh file kann ich nur raten: "Assasins" benutzt nicht GeMeshAsciiToBin sondern MeshAsciiToBin von Dusan ?


Maybe, "Assasins" do not use GeMeshAsciiToBin ?

I need the .mesh file for say more.

How do we make objects like hats or guns appear on toggling "display accessories"?
Should I rename them as handgunhandleft or... how?
