Legend Outfit
Why didn't they use the model from TRL for the Legend outfit? It always seemed odd how they kept her braid and backpack from Anniversary, yet had the outfit and makeup from Legend... would have made sense to give us the entire legend outfit. Would have been cool to play Legend Lara in Anniversary with the ponytail too
(Yes I know it's the same model with different hair and makeup) |

I agree . I didn't really like the Legend outfit in Anniversary , shorts and holsters looked weird , no black backpack , and I've always thought that they've doubled the makeup on Lara's face , it's like they splashed her face with makeup .

I found that odd too.
In fact that was actually also the older model for TRA: https://b1.gmbox.ru/c/65297.jpg |

Because it's an outfit not a skin.
A skin transfers the model into something else, a outfit just gives the current model a change of outfit. |

Natla is already in the game, so there is basically no work, there. As if they're going to add skins for each outfit. The Anniversary model looks 200% better than the Legend model, anyway.

You could easily make a mod to give her the black backpack. Obviously the braid would stay..
You could use TRL face textures too. PC only though |

Those ARE the legend face textures. Early TRA Lara used them and they remain on the Legend skin. I actually think they are a lot nicer than the TRA face. She was animated with them in the first place so her eyebrows don't become pencil thin when she makes faces.
