Default Which Route Do You Take in Wrath of the Beast?

I have been watching this TRAOD walkthrough and the route the guy took in Wrath of the Beast was very unusual for me. I think it was actually the first time I have seen this route because I usually go left and then forward untill the end of the room. However, I when I first time played the game and also several other times I think I took the inverted S route. I went left first and then in the middle of the room I jumped right. And after I jumped right I always hugged the wall instead of jumping across the pit like the guy did. And I remember that on the PC release that platform that you use to hug the wall falls immediately if the game is unpatched and if the game is patched it stays for some reason.

So the question is which route do you take in Wrath of the Beast? Did you know about these multiple routes? Are there any more routes to finish this level? Are there any similar multiple routes in other levels? I know you can either jump over the rooftops or go through the buildings in Industrial Rooftops and there are the famous Pierre's and Bernard's paths in Parisian Ghetto but are there multiple more routes in any other levels? Maybe in The Lost Domain? Bio-Research Facility?

I knew that there were more paths but I always took the one on the left as soon as the floor started falling apart, it's nice to see this other path in the video because I've never seen it

When you become comfortable with AOD, this room becomes really interesting & satisfying to play through.

Always been comfortable with it and I think this room is my favorite one in the Hall of Seasons. The video made me feel like replaying AoD or watching BAG's TR vids

Interesting I always take the left route then jump across the gap and don't hug the wall.

Interesting clip

I guess everybody likes to traverse this room differentely eh? I usually go to the right then to the left and hug the wall then jump to the platform up front and then keep jumping for my life in a linear fashion until I reach the top.

I don't think I had even noticed the rocks to the right of the entrance, I always take the most linear zig-zag route of just following the rock formations
