Tried it with the oiriginal GLRage, still the same. My card supports OpenGL 3.3, the 3dFX splash screen is black too.

I updated my drivers, still no luck.

Would enabling higher res images in more modern image formats instead of PCX (such as png or jpg) fix the issue? Higher res FMVs fixed the missing FMVs for me. Also is the inventory backgrond supposed to be transparent? Because it's black for me.

EDIT: sorry for double posting, just realised. I won't do it again.

EDIT2: I discovered that using programs such as Catalyst Control Center or Radeon Pro to enable Anti Aliasing and other such graphical features to smooth edges works brilliantly with TombATI, turning it off HAS NOT fixed the black background.

Yes, I too have been thinking that might. I'm looking for a way to handle the title in png form in any case so that the texture packs can override it. If you look inside any of the texture packs (other than TR1HD), you'll see a file TITLEH.png. I've recreated those from the Glidos version of the pack.

So far though, I haven't been able to understand how tombati.exe displays those images. It isn't using the same technique as the DOS/Glide version.

I hope you can, TombATI is perfect for me otherwise.

Default Fixed wrong texture.

I noticed a wrong texture in JC's The Cistern Textures, Instead of stone there are trapdoor textures instead. I compared it to the Glidos one and I was right so I fixed it and it looks right now.

Just replace the texture in the JC folder in TombATI with this one. It won't affect your save.

Glidos, it might be best putting this in a updated exe then adding it to TR Xtra. It's a texture used a lot in that level.

PS. Sorry for double posting, this was important.

Great thanks. I also need to work out what went wrong with my conversion script then!

I noticed one other issue, it doesn't look like TombATI or the conversion script did this though. In JC's Texture Pack file called LEVEL4_11.png the Neptune Key is missing and is a white texture. It looks like the textures are the same as the default textures so it should be easy for you to fix. I tried to add the sprite back using the one available oin Core Design.com but the sprites end up with a black outline.

Well spotted. I've uploaded a new archive to TRX with that corrected and with the texture you fixed.

Here's a comparison image if you want to see the difference for yourself (it's quite large so I added a link to it instead).

You're welcome.
