Yeah, it's pretty crazy. Clearly they built on the foundation they already had and it payed off. RDD1 was also very successful so it's really a great success for Rockstar. Let's hope for a Red Dead 3 in the future.

I just need a RDD1 remaster now. If they could just update the first one to the second one's graphics! Probably impossible, but omg!

Been playing this loads since it came out and I still haven't finished the story (currently on chapter 6), still have a few side-quests to do and haven't done almost any of the challenges.

If it doesn't win GOTY there's something fishy going on.

Today I was finally able to start my playthrough and...wow! I already love it!
All those years from the first one were totally worth it!

It’s really slow rn, but the story is intriguing so far. I’m not very far into it either so maybe my opinion will change.

^im assuming that’s a reference.

I am liking it more now. But I definitely wish the controls were more responsive. I love the attention to animations, however I feel like that shouldn’t take precedence over responsiveness. Still fun though. I like the situations that I’ve gotten that aren’t part of the main story. I haven’t even gotten past chapter 2 lol

Yes lol. Dutch spends the entire game scolding people for not having FAITH in him.

So far Fortnite beat it for GOTY ( only on Golden Joysticks)

I read that yesterday. Who can keep up with 13 year old s***kids and all their votes? This was voted on by the public, and look at who's playing Fortnite, mostly.

Ultimate Game of the Year 2017: Zelda: Breath of the Wild. An actual deserving game.
Ultimate Game of the Year 2018: Fortine. Released in 2017 and shouldn't even qualify as Breath of The Wild beat it last year, and it's not even a 2018 game.

I don't mind Fortnite and the high it's on, but it's not right when the game released in September 2017. In that case I'd love for Mario Odyssey to win this year. It was released in December 2017.
