Do you believe in life after love?

Its not reincarnation - its resurrection.
I believe heaven is next.

I’m open to whatever. Leaning more to reincarnation because it’d be cool living another life.

It is reincarnation. Know your words, crack a dictionary.

I had kidney surgery as a kid, but there were complications and they had to keep me under for a longer time. Unfortunately, they gave me a different anaesthetic that my body reacted badly to, and so I ended up in the ICU when I didn't come out of it on my own.
So I woke up a while later, finally, hooked up to monitoring machines. Now, I don't remember any of this myself, as I was very hazy and slow to regain full consciousness, but my foster-mother tells me that I asked her why she had looked so worried back then. She was confused and asked me when (probably was hiding her worry now that I was awake), and I said, 'When you were walking with the bunny.' Turns out (she told me this later), she had been down to the gift shop while waiting for me to wake up and bought a toy bunny. And she hadn't brought it out yet. She asked me how I knew and I said I saw her from the corner of the hallway.

I'm not sure what to make of it. Maybe I spotted the rabbit without her knowing it, maybe I could see the worry in her face and maybe I said something that she misconstrued to sound like I knew more than I should've. I love her a lot, but she's easily influenced. She can tell a story and then someone can say, 'Actually, it was the cousin's party' and she'll just accept it wholeheartedly.
I wish I weren't so skeptic. For a number of years I fully believed it, but with time I've been having doubts if my kid-self truly had an out-of-body experience. I guess it's just hard to believe another person's version of something that you don't remember. But I'd like to believe there are things we don't yet understand about our consciousness, that it can transcend the confines of our bodies.
In short, to quote a certain fictional FBI agent, I want to believe.

I think that would be awful. Another realm / dimension seems better.

Life can be tough and painful, but it's also a gift to be able to experience anything at all. You're entitled to feel however you wish, of course, but I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss your existence there is much beauty in the world, no matter how terrible it might seem.
