Someone asked me how I get models and how I make them posable. I simply use Dusan's mesh importer and I modify it to import bones also.
You can download ImportMeshAsciiExtended.py here This version import bones and for each mesh apply an 'armature' modifier. There are some other features : - remove double points for each mesh - in a material: textures are automatically assign in "Map to" panel: the diffuse texture affect color material, bump texture affect the normals of the material, and lighmap texture affect the hardness of the material. I don't know the corresponding to mask texture in Blender. If someone know? In Blender, the file will appear as "MeshAsciiExt (*.mesh.ascii)" |
