Not really, a lot of modern games have editors enclosed by default and with a good manual it is easy to learn them. To be honest I find it much harder to use TRLE than many modern editors all because of TRLE's archaic way of building levels(enhanced by some awful unofficial tools) and the amount of bugs and compatibility problems it has.

I think a lot of people are thinking an AOD editor means we would be able to model new levels like in the old TRLE but without being limited to squares. But AOD’s environments were probably built in tools already available to us like Maya or whatever so an editor would just mean we could edit the triggers, collision, add objects and stuff... so it would not be nearly as accessible to everyone as the old editor we have now

Maya is available for everyone as a free tool for educational use. Same goes to every autodesk program.

Maya was just a modelling programme, I'm sure the whole game wasn't built with just Maya.
If an AOD editor gets released then people will probably learn how to use Maya just like how with the TRLE community people learn other external tools to make levels look amazing such as the NGLE or even MetaTR, don't forget TREP or FLEP as well. |

If an AOD Level editor gets released then I wonder if the admin at TRLE.Net would host AOD levels, I mean he hosts levels built with the Unofficial Level editor so I'm hoping he will with AOD levels

So what exactly happened with this Level Editor, why wasn't it released, is it still existing in some place in the world?
Jorje Croft: hahahahaha Caesum: It would be so awesome if I could build levels |

Wouldn't it be easier to make OpenTomb capable of those things? Just asking.
