I've been keeping myself busy with Tekken 6... ever since I got it, really.
But I'm considering trying to continue Tales of Symphonia. However, I remember myself being stuck in a highly frustrating boss battle.

In a breakaway from my usual retro gaming, I've just completed the PS3's Haze on the Very Hard difficulty. It started off disappointingly easy (although this was probably because I was, if I may say so myself, excellent at the game at this point), but near the end, it became perfectly difficult. Anyway, that's Haze done and dusted for the time being. Personally I thought it was deeply flawed, but highly enjoyable all the same. The plot was great in my opinion, but it was a bit poorly done and over the top from time to time. The soundtrack was really rather dull, too, and the whole game was pretty unpolished. Technically, it wasn't too impressive either, with plenty of minor bugs throughout the whole game, long load times when you die (surprisingly, though, you can get through the whole game without any loading times if you don't die. Weird.), and a large installation file size. On the other hand, it only froze up twice, which isn't bad for a PS3 game, especially considering I played it four times. The gameplay mechanics of Haze were pretty fun and unique, and the offline multiplayer was more than welcome. Overall a well above average game, I think. Right, now I'm off to continue my playthrough of Final Fantasy XII, which I've been slowly trudging through for a couple of months so far. Ramble over.
And no, I don't know why I used past tense when talking about Haze. I need sleep.

After putting it off for god knows how long, I decided to go back to Persona 4.
![]() I rescued Naoto weeks ahead of time, leaving me with plenty of free time to build up them Social Links. It's pretty simple, see. First, I fusion'd up Kin-Ki, who got levelled up to 61 because I maxed out Chie's S. Link. I then equipped an auto-Tarukaja armor, cast Power Charge and Gigantic Fist, which can cause up to 4 digits of damage to minibosses and normal enemies, though it only knocked away about 600 of Shadow Naoto's HP. I had Yosuke, Chie and Yukiko in my party, and both Yosuke and Chie's S. Links were maxed, so they had no elemental weaknesses. Yukiko was still weak to ice, so Naoto spammed Bufudyne on her, but she had plenty of HP and Diarama skills, so that really wasn't a problem. I had Yosuke cast Dekaja on Naoto, should Naoto cast Heat Riser, otherwise I just spammed Garudyne. Yukiko was my main healer and I made Chie cast Tarukaja and Power Charge on herself, and Black Spot on Naoto. I kept repeating these tactics and Naoto went down slowly, but surely. Genius. TL;DR: Played Persona 4. Beat a boss. Go me!

I finished the game and I´ve never been able to deal that much damage so easily (except for the Minotaurs´case, in which they suffer quite a lot, poor things). Naoto got like 200 HP damage from each of my characters (tops).
