So I had the opportunity to catch up with a few episodes of Jormungand.
Not too bad... But not good either. There is just so much potential in Koko's character but half the time she ends up coming off as the stereotypical silly-willy "call me onee-chan! Hehehe!" goof. The creators overdid her character; In trying to present her as a charismatic psychopath, they ended up making her a convoluted cliche. The backdrop def. interests me and the fact that this anime tackles the uncomfortable subject of child soldiers pleases me. The most chilling thing about arms dealers is the fact that when most prospectors meet them in person, the first impression they usually get from them is the fact that they really like their personalities... Which I guess is what the creators of Jormungand were trying to convey with Koko; But like I said... They overdid it. EDIT: Does anyone know the name of the track that plays during the knife fight between Mildred and Valmet? Last edited by Catapharact; 18-05-12 at 16:13. |

^ Good question, one I cannot answer. But I love the soundtrack so far:

Bumping, but I'll bump by saying that Jormungand is still more epic than epicness.

The title reminds me of TRU. Is that bad? It's deliberate, which isn't good. (cringy line)
I still haven't finish Durara and Bacanno, only saw the first episode. Busy life is busy. My little sister borrowed and finished watching both already. Said they're good. |

I mean, Durarara was pretty much the bestest thing I had ever witnessed back then. |
