What about Colosseum and Gale of Darkness. Also the Stadium game including Battle Revelations.

Typically, after writing that "bored of pokemon" post, I saw the trailer for X & Y today... I changed my mind! I NEED IT NAO!

Just out of curiosity, how come Game Freak didn't develop fully 3D Pokemon games when the series moved on to the DS? The console was fully capable of handling games like that, especially when you look at games like Kingdom Hearts.

I think it would be difficult with the scale of the game (fitting all pokemon, locations, features etc.) But its what I hoped for with the original DS as well. Ah well, better Maya than never! :P

Random observation: I hope movement isn't as rigid as the trailer makes it look... I know the grid system is important, but it could be a detriment in a 3D game.

No. We've always had a distinct thread for each game.
(And I've made them since HeartGold and SoulSilver) ;D

I see this thread as a hub for series news in general, as some fans only like the main series games, whilst others are into Mystery Dungeon, TGC, etc.

We can't break tradition.
