Sorry to disappoint guys, I just looked through the magazine and it's just a mock poster which looks like its made by a fan (Olivias head on the concept art of Lara holding pickaxe) in a section of the magazine "Game movies that should happen"

I have kinda expected that, well to be honest I actually thought that they would have a professional shoot at least.

Ugh, it somehow bugs me that the guy who did that mock poster got paid.

Just seen it on iPad soooo glad I didn't pay for it. It is a red and white poster of Olivia Wilde (with her hair down) cropped onto the body of Lara with the Island in the back round and a Japanese art style ship crash infront of her. It has the tagline before the Legend, The fight to survive. And has her name and the logo in the black and red text. It also has the Universal logo to the side. It looks incredibly fan made and cheap. there are other posters for Gears of War The movie and Metal Gear solid movie. The later two just use game renders.

I'm not disappointed at all. It actually made my day!

Does anyone have the pic? I'd like to see that hilarious thing.

See Olivia Wilde as Lara Croft

Quote:
In the latest editions of Xbox World and PSM3, the cast and crews for nine dream game-to-film projects are amazingly realised in a series of 'What if?' posters. Want to see the next Tomb Raider movie? What about the Tom Cruise-starring Assassin's Creed? Or Hugh Jackman, Clint Eastwood and Kurt Russell in Metal Gear Solid: The Movie? You can now.

"Hey internet, I'm not the new Lara Croft!" the eye-hurtingly gorgeous Tron actress tweeted in October 2011, but rumours of her involvement refuse to die, especially as the suits behind the film have been busily chinwagging about it in the mean time. In Xbox World and PSM's version of what producer Graham King is calling a "character piece", Wilde is directed by Peter Berg, who made excellent twosome, Friday Night Lights and The Kingdom... as well as the (cough) less-than-excellent Battleship.
