I-pod refuses to charge ... wtf?
Hey
my I-pod suddenly - from one day to the next - decided to stop charging, when I plug the cable into my USB-port. * I-Tunes still opens up (and I just downloaded the latest version). * I've tried 2 different USB-slots * Both USB-slots work, coz my portable hard drive works when I (dis)connect it. Is the cable broken? What can I do, please? Thanks! Bye for now |

What iPod do you use? It's most likely the cord. Unfortunately, the apple usb cords don't really last that long, at least with my experiences. They should be cheap, though, since you're using...well, an iPod.

You could try getting a toothpick or paperclip or anything similar of size and lightly try and pick out any dirt in the charger port, as the dirt can stop the electricity running through.
I recently tried this with my Iphone after my cables stopped working and it's surprising the amount of dirt and stuff I got out and my cables worked properly after that |
