Default TR from Steam

I see I can get Lara's Classics on Steam. But I wonder if the graphics have been enhanced.

They are the classics in their original form. I think it is an amazing purchase, and steam makes it easier, no need to use emulators and no software issues with compatibility. And if you want to, you can mod the game.

No, the steam version utilizes DosBox, and undoubtedly so does the GoG version. But the steam version might as well be "right out of the box" good, you do nothing but download and install it and it works as advertised.

What I was saying was that the purchaser need only do what they would with any other game downloaded from steam. They don't have to mess around with anything, just install it and play.

I am sorry if I was not clear. What I meant was: you only have to buy the game and click "install" on steam. It will do everything for you, hassle-free. Just click and play, basically.

I know what you meant, it's the very same principle behind my own installer app
in fact without a proper under the hood emulation there's no way TR1 could be played.
