Hey guys! To avoid speculation, as I said, Nico got the job after releasing the demo and that's his priority since it was his goal from the start. However, he's still working on DoX and as I've mentioned earlier, the idea is to finish the 1st episode (which should be The great wall and Croft manor). Lately, I didn't talk to Nico much (with both of us having crazy schedules) but I did see some screens Also, there are some addition to our little team.
For now, we're keeping things quiet to avoid unnecessary deadlines, frustration etc. So, to project is not canceled, it's just in a quiet stage. Keep in mind, that this is how I see where the project is heading and this is not an official statement from Nico. Hope this helps Last edited by Only TR lover; 29-01-18 at 13:32. |

Thank you
It's nice to know there's something in the works. Good for Nico! On the other hand - with this demo out, chances of him not getting a job were rather slim I'd say |

So I decided to play this since I finally have a PC that can run it. I have to say I really wish CD and Square went in the direction that this game did. My god what a breath of fresh air this is. I absolutly love everything about this. I love opening that door and the light pouring in and then that beautiful scenery. I love the fact that exploration is the main focus of this vs the reboot. In this game I explore the area because something looks interesting and I'm not told 50 million times to go there. I absolutly love the lack of white paint in this. I treated this just like classic Tomb Raider where any ledge is climbable and that's true in this game. You see a ledge, hole, or something Lara can grab? Try it out and see if it is and if not try something else. Experimentation is something that is really fun to do.
Also the traps, my god are they freaking amazing. The suspense and tension with that Jade Dragon trap, the eerie sound track as your trying to move as fast as you can to avoid death, never got this feeling in reboot. There are just tons of feels and emotions that I am feeling after this. Amazing, the best Tomb Raider game that I've played in years. I can't wait for Croft manor to be worked on and finished. Thank you to everyone who worked on this wonderful gem. You guys put a bright and happy smile on my face. Last edited by charmedangelin; 04-02-18 at 23:47. |

Tomb raider 1 and 2 from the 90's are my favorite games from the series.
Level 1 Chinese wall in remake Tomb raider 2 is better than Level 1 in Tomb raider Anniversary 2007 (remake Tomb raider 1) A great job. Masterpiece A fragment of Venice in such a graphic setting would be brilliant. You have to wait patiently for completing level 1 and Croft house. |
