This music fits TR3 better than TR2
I love this little tune and I think it suits TR3 better than it did in TR2 its one of the reasons I love playing TR3 just to hear this lovely little tune.

Same here. To me this suited TR3 better than TR2. Just how like some TR4 music suited TR5 better.

(Apologies for the necro posting but I had to voice my feelings about this ) That track is called "Beauty Unfurled" and is indeed one of my favourite pieces of music in the series. I first heard it in the Great Wall level, when you emerge outside on top of the wall itself: what a moment! It became a habit of mine to dispatch the crows as fast as I could in order to step onto the edge of the wall and contemplate the view while this track played in the background... And that's far from the last time this piece was used to great effect. For example: in Tibetan Foothills, remember when you emerge from an icy cave onto a snowy ledge above a small mountain lake, and there's that hut and snowmobile in the distance? And that awesome horizon? "Beauty Unfurled" again... and it remains a defining moment for me. In Tomb Raider III, the track is occasionally used well (during a moment of discovery, or when reaching a viewpoint - or better in conjunction with a viewpoint), but I also remember hearing this when it was rather uncalled for - the game does occasionally display a rather random usage of its playlist which is immersion breaking (I touched upon this in my review). I mean, this track in an elevator shaft? seriously? But Tomb Raider III benefits from greater variety, and frankly the best new piece for me is "She's Cool" which is first introduced in a brilliant way at the end of the Jungle level, right after Tony moves away - his voice trailing off as he says "Yeah... Die..." one of the best storytelling moments of the game, full of mystery, foreboding, and frankly foreshadowing (everyone is gonna experience death in the next level!). This piece setting in right after Tony's words sink in made a chill go down my spine and I was very excited for what came next! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlcWYsoNFxU |

This has to be one of the best classic soundtracks ever. To me it fits TR2 more, I always remember Barkhang Monastery when I hear this tune.
