Default Moveable camera mod?

Hey everyone!

I was wondering if there was a way to move the camera around freely in Anniversary. Is there any sort of mod available?

I'm trying to get some ingame footage but Lara is in the way of pretty much every shot.

Maybe you can edit the in game script to make a free camera... Cause i've never seen any mod on the web...

I have absolutely no clue how to do that, unfortunately.

I made a Cheat Engine table which you can use to freely move the camera around, and you can slow down/stop the game speed too to make it easier to set up your scene. Unfortunately it doesn't quite operate like a fly cam, so you may struggle to do filmed shots, but for still screenshots it works fine.

Check out the thread here for information on downloading and installing it. I can recreate the thread here on the Tomb Raider Forums if it's preferable.

A very kind person linked me to your table the other day! This is a blessing. Exactly what I was looking for and works absolutely perfectly.

Thanks so much for your work and for replying! I'll make sure to credit your mod tools in the show I'm making.

I'm delighted that the table has helped you! I wasn't sure if anyone would actually make use of it.

Also there's no need to credit me - unless someone specifically asks how you did it, I really don't mind. Good luck with your show!

A sneaky way to have a moving camera...
(I use these methods in my Youtube videos)

Newer games....
If you know how to use TEXMOD, you can make all of Lara's textures invisible, hence she is invisible, and then you can use her as a moving camera.

You should be able to use this method for TRL, TRA and TRU.

Older games....
On classic games TR1 to TR5, I would change all Lara's textures to invisible using PIXSTR or STRPIX, and then you can again use her as a moving camera, though her ground shadow shows up in some games.

Sorry for the late response but thank you very much for the heads up! Will definitely use these for my next episodes.
