I thinks, they mimic the parent rotation/scale, and you addet the new bone wrong.

I have a question ^^

I made a Lara model in blender with different parts (but i moved a few parts to much so the bone weights got destroyed), so i exported it as .obj and made bone weight copy... but when i now want to export it to .mesh.ascii i get this ''x is not in list'' error.

Would be nice if someone knows how to fix iz
I am sure, somebody know this - Ich hoffe, es kann dir jemand helfen.

And then I get the most horrible error 'x not in the list'.
My model is exported with 3 less bones.
She has the bones of eyelid left, but not the right ones............
I don't understand why..

What do I do???????
I dont not, what you do.

I found it strange how it didn´t happen when I used your Casual Friday skeleton as a base (for the punk Lara mod ), but it happened every time I adjusted an original skeleton. But now I understand why.

I have found an alternative fix, that is possible since we have XNALara 8.8. You can use a copy of the model you are working on and pose it, save as mesh.ascii (posed), then use Blender to copy the edited skeleton (edited in XNA! ) to the other model (which is not posed). It works.

Besser als bei 2.49 - und mit den Mini-Maps bump1 und bum2 - in richter grösse
Better then 2.49 - and with mini map's (bump1 and bump2) in the right scale

A little more information about the problem is enough for me. I know you used the Web, and Blender videos. - And you can try this.

I have tried everything and I have read carefully this link..............
If you want, I can send you my model and my new face and maybe you can export it....... Or maybe you can find what I do wrong, because I don't know..
I don't make changes to the skeleton!!!!
I just edit her face. I don't know why Blender removes the bones.
Maybe I have edit it too much and it doesn't fit to the bones, I don't know..
Is this possible? I don't know..
Bone weights look fine, vertex groups also..
And sorry.
I'm desperate.

Sure, send me the model with PM and i try to search the problem.
Blender remove bones, if the bone length equal zero! Have you any warning by Import the model inside Blender? Maybee: "Zero size bone ignored"?

If the import or export script in Blender displays a warning, it means this is a problem (error) for XNALara.
