Thanks for the translation Legends

I am not too sure what to think about them "expanding" the history....I don't think I would like to see the story of the original game twisted to fit into the missing mother storyline. But....going off of what she said in TR: L about her mother being the only reason she "raids" tombs....I could see how the scion would be another piece necessary to gain access into Avalon.

I just hope that if Lara has to destroy it in this game like the original, it will destroy all of her chances of finding her mother

I like the rest of the article (sans the AoD stab), and I really hope they stick to what they say

The pic with Lara diving looks more dark and gloomy than the previous pic of the same area, it might just be the gamma, but it actually looks like the bloom type effects have been greatly toned down rather the brightness of the whole area. The "new" look definitely seems more fitting.

In the end we found out that “Tomb Raider 1” fits very well with “Tomb Raider Legend” who in many ways grew out of the original.
We could make the same game without changing the story.
All we really needed to do was put more history into it.
“More history to the same game”
Legend II:Quest for the Scion

so,if this game is gonna nicely be slotted into the Legend storyline i don't see how Anniversary is the right title

the rest of the translation is very promising though, especially this bit

“Tomb Raider: Legend” was too linear and easy, and this is what we are changing in the Anniversary Edition.
hell yeah! TR8 could be a killer title

Thanks Legends
Reading "thats its not going to be too easy and linear." just made me happy, lol.

“Tomb Raider: Anniversary” is not going to be an exact copy of the 10 year old classic.
In stead the game is exposed with new and bigger areas (levels) and with the Legend control-system.

NOW AND THEN: This is how the original from 1996 of “Tomb Raider” looked like.
When the original game is made again, it will look a lot better.
The control system is modified and the gamers will get new levels to explore. Photo: Crystal Dynamics/Eidos.

Great I think Legend would be cool prequel for TR1 Since Legend is all about what made Lara who she is. It's like the beginning of the story.

There we have it They realize that Legend was easy, so one flaw fixed

- “Angel of Darkness” really fell so hard of track that it's almost impossible.
“Tomb Raider” is about old mysteries and the locations that Lara Croft travels to.
And the environments are just as important as Lara Croft is!
A hide and sneak game, just isn’t Tomb Raider.

Damn right!!!

Let's hope really early 2007, like sooner than Final Fantasy XII.

Thank you Legends. This really made my day
