The Gold Coast has PLENTY of beautiful forests. More than bush, actually.

You've clearly never heard of the GC Hinterland.









And not to mention some awesome rocky beaches that would be perfect for the shipwreck beach.

Firstly, I didn't know about those, but secondly, that still doesn't look like Yamatai
Aussie beaches would definitely be the obvious choice for the beach

It's official guys Tomb Raider has decided Cape Town, South Africa as the shooting location for the film. Tank Crew management is providing the crew for the production.

Cool! I was starting to get worried they wouldn't have time to build the sets in time for the February shoot...

Tank alongside Moonlighting Film crew will be in charge of the crew for the production. The production coordinator is James Muringani. We should get news of possible filming dates and cast soon.
