Yes, please! A TR2 remake would be perfect! But pls, if it does happen, use the classic TR formula, but modernize it. Keep the medipacks, keep the health bar, keep EVERYTHING, but improve on it. Don't change the environment but Modernize them.

This and bring back boss battles like we had in Legend and Anniversary. Action sequences in cutscenes to kill a main villain just isn't satisfying. On Anniversary, you could rapidly shoot your hatred into Natla via your own skills and control and that felt great when she was knocked to the ground.

Indeed. I don't think it would turn out well at all.

They said forget about the dual pistols and shorts, so what makes you think they'd go back to that?

It's not about them going back to old games - they can continue making their vision of TR/Lara.

My point is, now that they've made money from their soon-to-be trilogy, they could surely afford to put out at remake for classic fans before their next instalment? If Nicobass can do it then a team of professionals can manage no problem. And everyone would be happy Classic fans get a remake to enjoy and fans of the new gen still get current games.

Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix are not gonna put any effort on recreating the original Tomb Raiders ... Even if they do so , they are going to completely corrupt the original
stories and adventures by modernizing it .

Even though, like most people said above, it's surely not gonna happen, I think that they could at least include the Dagger of Xian in the newer games (based on that clue from Blood Ties). But that depends on whether there are gonna be more games after SOTTR....

What about a TR2 remake in the world of Reboot Lara?
