I caught up with episodes 6 and 7. Both were meh. Need to watch the mid-season finale tonight. Heard it was promising.

And . . . we're back!
So nice to see Our Heroes get their groove back! Not much happened other than Rick and Co. sounding like . . . Rick and Co. So here's my question: Why not just leave? It's a big country. The Saviors can't control all of it. Why not figure out the limits of their territory and move on? Yeah, you don't know what's out there, but can it actually be worse than what's here? I would at least like to hear a discussion about this from the group. |

I love, love, love Ezekiel. The overt theatricality of his character gets me every time. Its a shame he's been kind of underused. Hopefully that'll change in the second half of the season. I can just see him riding into battle on a horse yelling "Charge!" |

Did you get your Ezekiel fix last night? Will the king come around? He seems very determined to keep the piece.
Tough episode. Very . . . disjointed. A lot of stuff going on. It was heartbreaking to see Daryl not tell Carol the truth. I can't decide if there's romance there or not. But what will happen when Carol does learn the truth? And who will she learn it from? I don't know what to make about the junkyard dogs. They seem scary weird to me. You get their help beating the Saviors, then they turn on you. That's how it feels. I guess everyone else gave up on this show? |

It's very lonely here.
I think Eugene has gone over to the dark side. |

I've completely forgotten about this show! Can't believe I've missed 3 straight weeks. Need to do a quick catch up by Sunday.

I'd appreciate it. Pretty soon I would have had to realize I was talking to myself.

That being said, if he has gone over to the dark side, they'll have a hard time 'letting him go/killing him'. |

TBQFH I'm getting bored of TWD.
The first 3 seasons were amazing - but as it has gone on, it seems to have gotten worse and worse. The whole Game of Thrones **** in Season 7 made both me and my partner cringe. People all over the net saying how ratings have gone way below half of what it used to be. Most of the time all they do is talk for an hour and thats it.. Last episode was better - but it made the 2 before it pointless and redundant.. they should have just linked the two together. Never read the comics so I dunno how closely they are sticking to it. Rick and Carl (ha) and driving me crazy - I hate that stupid cowboy hat so much LOL If it wasn't for Carol (who I adore) being in it, I'd happily not watch it. Some of the female characters are way more interesting and realistic - but they don't get much attention (that army gal with the cap and gloves is neat) And that one who found that community of women by the river (I'm useless at names) |
