Lightbulb Tomb Raider - Dino Caves

Just something that came out of the blue, some screens were shown in the screenshot showcase.

Screenshots

That all worth showing for now.

Wow, very nice screens, they remind me "The Lost Valley"

Ideas are very scarce however, very little to build on.

The outdoor area is great however.

What's wrong with the TR4 Lara?

No holsters make her look incomplete. Plus, with the old school textures, I think the older model would blend in better too. Or even Po Yu or Horus Goddess TR3 outfits.

Looking forward to seeing the Dinosaurs! I know thereís a triceratops as the Sphinx floating around on Laraís Levelbase somewhere... could make some interesting puzzles with that.

Personally, I like the inclusion of TR4 Lara. Yeah, the lack of holster straps can be a bit bothering along with the lower cut top/leotard, but it feels really nice having her in a level like this. Besides, we never see TR4 Lara battle dinos.

The environment looks great. Well modeled geometry, excellent texturing, and beautiful lighting. The only thing I dislike is the turquoise glow around the pond in the outdoor valley. To my eye, it clashes with the strong ambient blue/purple color. Maybe if it were more subtle I would like it. Anyway, it's not bad, just me being picky about color combos!

In regards to the outfit, I wouldn't mind a change. The default Lara models are great, but they're kind of boring when you've been looking at them since the 90s. Especially when there are so many awesome outfits out there!

I was informed that light like that should be softer to look like a natural glow.

The gameplay is lacking right now. I may have to dismantle the map, keep key areas (like the outdoor valley), and adding rooms with purpose instead of the sake of adding rooms.
