This should be sticky in my opinion.
I recently update to Creator's Update and I've been trying to find the solution suggested by nakamachi680 (that works) but I couldn't remember where I had seen it. And as it will probably be needed also for future versions of Windows 10 it will be useful for more people.

Im on latest win 10 pro, never had this issue, this is the settings i always follow

When i upgraded to the new creators update i downloaded the iso from microsoft, burned to bluray and did a clean install with it
I make Game Icons, Check my Profile page for info :D

In my case I found out the game doesn't want to open if I launch it using a shortcut, eg. the one that's in the Start Menu. It works pretty well if I run it directly through the Launcher and even better if I copy .exes from the bin folder into the TRAOD main folder. You can also make a new shortcut and it should work too.

My Launcher.exe has Windows XP SP2 compatibility + runs as admin
TRAOD_P4 has Windows XP SP3 compatibility + runs as admin + disabled scalling compatibility + scalling set to application
