I think it would be a good idea if fans get buzzed enough over this (and it's certainly making waves so far).

Like I said in another thread, if the rest of the game is remade as well as the first level, I'd pay good money for this in a heartbeat.

Is there any news if at the very least the first level will get finished or is this project now abandoned since nicobass got hired elsewhere

Nicobass got hired somewhere? Can you elaborate on that?

^ No people said often that Nico -should- be hired somewhere in the videogame industry... It was just a "suggestion".
(We all hope the best future on this direction of course, for him)

I'm pretty sure the composer, Dean, mentioned nico had received job offers. Well deserved.

So I finally got around to playing this. Had been meaning to for a while.

I'm so so so impressed. :O That last puzzle had me stumped for a while lol. I will agree that the lack of "white ledges" made it a bit more difficult to tell what was climbable and what wasn't sometimes. For the most part though he did use visual ques like weathering to mark climbable ledges. I think the only part I had trouble figuring out what was climbable were the upper pillars in the last puzzle room. But I can't complain since I've been waiting for something like this for years! So overall I'm really happy with this. Nico did a fantastic job. It didn't feel cluttered to me or anything, and I thought the pacing was pretty good. But I'm not a level designer so, perhaps others with more experience would have better pointers.

Either way, if he has found work then he definitely deserves it. It only makes me sad that it means this will likely never be finished. ;-; The demo ended at such an interesting point!

Well, if anything I hope it proves that people would still have interest in a TR game which featured the classic character. It felt very nostalgic but new at the same time. I cannot give it enough praise.
