I think it's sort of unfair to rate certain TR IV connecting/hub levels such as Street Bazaar/Hall of Demetrius since they were most likely created because of the technical limitations of the classic TR engine.

The Colosseum was back in the day actually quite impressive. It gave me the feelings like there have real people been and watching epic fights.
Humans vs animals, animal cages , Gladiator cages and spike pits. The vip box got an crocodile pet pool..... It gave you some special atmosphere
The devs might have build this level just for the atmosphere and not because of the gameplay itself(look a big giant room---> look at the size outstanding)

I liked it , but everyone got his own opinion and that is okay

This biggest thing I didn't like about TR1 Colosseum was that the draw-distance didn't allow you to take it all in. Had there not been that black fog so you could actually see it all at once, it would have been so much more breath-taking.

I can forgive it being square, given everything was square with the lack of tech in 1996. I guess since some real life arenas actually are square (more modern ones than ancient but still) it didn't really bother me.

I think these are really good lists and I agree with most of them.

I would probably add TRC Escape with the Iris and in bad. TR2 Opera House I really like for its scale and complex level design. I really like TR1 ToQ with all its puzzles.
