Only on the Y axis for now, as I assumed this to be the most common case, but in the next version (that is currently being worked on) there will be an option to pick any axis.

This will definitely come in handy. Thanks much, Krystian, and Merry Christmas!

Big bump, but I don't see much talk about this little program, while it is very usefull for animation makers.

I just used this for the first time to mirror an animation and it worked like a charm!!!

I did have to temporarily disable Avira Antivirus because it gave me one of those messages, saying there's something suspicious about the file, like with FLEP-patched tomb4.exe files, but there's nothing wrong with it.

Also used this the other day, very useful
I think this should be in the tools section, on the index thread of tutorials.

At the bottom of the Tools list.

Thanks guys! Glad you find it useful.

I actually wanted to develop these tools further by integrating them into a single program with a real windows interface rather than a command prompt, and the ability to set some options with different operations (like choosing the rotation axis with the rotation, choosing to move or not to move the bounding box in the repositioning, etc).

I was also working on a scaling tool, which would let you change the number of keyframes in animation, and the animation would be smoothly scaled to fit this new number of keyframes. Would be useful when you have made an animation and it turns out looking a bit too slow in game (often an issue that I have when making animations in 3ds Max). So instead of going back to 3ds, adjusting the speed and going through the painful process of importing back to the wad, you could just pop it in this tool.
It worked nearly perfectly, but it had a bug that I have been trying to get rid of for a long time, and I simply couldn't track it down.

Then I got really busy with university and I hadn't looked into finalizing the scaling tool nor improving the interface of the tools in general. Oh well, I hope to perhaps look into it again during this Easter break.

That scaling feature sounds great! Quite usefull!

And putting all features into one program is always good ofcourse.
But if that does not work, I'm also quite happy with what we have now.

I agree, they really are useful, I use them more than occasionally.

Why don't you release the scaling tool with a warning? It works great in most cases, the rotation problems don't happen often, and when they do it's because the animations already have some meshes rotated in a weird way, so you probably can't solve it easily anyway.

There's one little bug, nothing important: sometimes, the two last frames of the scaled animation are identical. It's not an additional frame, it's that the penultimate seem to be ignored, so you have to make the interpolation yourself with the Animation Wizard. But it's one frame so it's not a big deal.
But I really think you should release it, it is definitely useful.
