Default Sound Crash Problem

Hello! I put the Lara "aha" sound when she picks the object up in my game. However, whenever I change my sounds.txt file and run the SFX_Example program, it likes to make my game crash before it even reaches the title level, but if I were to change it back how it was, it'll work just fine. I followed and did exactly what this tutorial said.. I have no idea what's causing the crash.

Could you post an excerpt of your sounds.txt so we can see exactly how it's written?

Did you double check that the format of the aha sound is correct? I can't remember all the specifics, but I know it has to be something like a mono 22050 Hz WAV.

Code:
LARA_PICKUP: Lara_aha VOL46 RAD13 #g
That's exactly how I had it. Just spaced out so it'd be aligned with the rest of the lines. The sound should be in the right format I haven't changed it at all.. I don't really know how to check honestly, but it is in .WAV format.

^If you used the sound ripped from TR2 then the format is NOT right. TR2 has sounds in 11 Hz AFAIK...
