I got so excited when I saw the official TR Twitter mention the future of the series then I saw it was just a correction. Damn. I hope Meagan isn't in trouble or something. You can tell she was very careful with her words in that interview, and multiple sourceshave already said Eidos Montreal are making it and it's called Shadow of the Tomb Raider so I wonder what's triggered this.

Same. The Twitter posts seem like they're correcting something we as fans aren't yet privy to... perhaps?

No doubt CD are well aware of that and so don't view the "data" they get from the forum as representative. If the TRF opinion was that of the majority of the fanbase both Reboot games would've flopped, yet they clearly didn't, even despite some questionable marketing strategies for Rise.

I'm worried about that too, as I really liked Rhianna's take on Lara -- even though she wasn't able to showcase certain aspects like she wanted (Lara's post-Yamatai PTSD, for instance). But the Blood Ties DLC gives me hope, as Noah Hughes was apparently the main writer behind that and gave it an emotional punch that was oddly absent from most of Rise, despite taking major strides in that direction with its predecessor. Given he's still with the franchise, I'm optimistic Lara's still in good hands.
My Concern was Deus Ex Not Tomb raider. Tomb raider to me is done it's over

Exactly. If I didn't like something I wouldn't spend all my time discussing it

I know, big mystery!!

Could it be this bit I wonder:

Quote:
With the next game being developed by Deus Ex: Mankind Divided studio Eidos Montreal
I mean, by reading that quote I would now assume that EM is in fact developing the next game for definite as opposed to Crystal + EM...

But then if it is this they have a problem with, why not just clarify and say who is developing the game....

I find it odd that this random website I've never heard of suddenly had all that info they published while other sites like IGN haven't posted anything. Something doesn't add up...

Well, it must be something that was not supposed to be revealed so soon.

Interesting that "Tomb Raider" is now in the hand's of someone else, I wonder what that means for it.

Oh my Gosh. We're legit getting so far from the classics.

Like, none of these "bitches" (so to speak) have the secret recipe.

Welp. R.I.P.
