Come on, TR changed just as many things in the game as ACIII, maybe more.

smiley for? larafan25 said that ACIII looks like ACI, which is why I responded in the way that I did. This is a TR forum, we all know how much TR has changed since the last installment, he just made a comment on AC looking the same, that I stepped in and explained how his comment was not accurate. Especially since he has not played any AC game before. Unless your remark has an undertone of animosity towards AC getting ranked #1 over TR; people shouldn't be getting butt hurt because of the praise ACIII gets over TR.

Actually I've played AC1 yall, and a bit of AC Brotherhood.
It just doesn't look like such a giant change from the first AC game to me. Though I wasn't too invested in what was happening with the later installements, they seemed to pick up more interesting mechanics, and looking at the one or two videos I've seen of AC3, based only on what I know, it doesn't look too different.

Oh, I thought you said you never played them.
What do you mean when you say that it doesn't look too different? Like, the way it actually looks, or that it's gameplay does not seem different, as in, it has not evolved?

To me, that series looks like it's evolving and changing in a positive way, a way that from my perspective looks consistent and progressive. Whereas with TR it's like we've been flung back and forth each game with random-ass big changes. Assassin's Creed as far as I know it is climbing around old cities and assassinating people, and that looks quite the same in AC3, but with the addition of using the natural environments as a playground as well.

Not that that is bad, since TR1-LR all seemed like they were the same thing, just with some minor changes. Although, that's another discussion.

I feel like we've got something very new right now, and it will need to be perfected in the sequel. But once they have it right, I don't want them to go and change it all up again.
