Default Using FOV and Camera fix?

Was wondering if anyone tried to use the FOV and Camera fix patch for this game? The game already runs in wide screen, but the camera is too close to Lara. I know it says it's for TR 2-4, but can this also be used for 5, just for the FOV and Camera Distance fix.

Well did you try using it? If it doesn't work then it means they would have to hack the game to get it to work...

I wasn't sure if it would cause glitches or anything, but I just tried it and it works, no glitches so far.

Sorry for bringing an old post up but would anyone happen to have a fix for this on the TRC Steam version? It's quite annoying as I run at 1920 x 1080 for recording, it's weird how TR4 never had the issue.

I'm using the steam version too. If you have the tomb raider 2,3,4 wide screen patch downloaded check the box that says camera distance value and leave it at the default and check the box that says FOV and change that to 0. Do not check the widescreen box as the game is already in widescreen.

That's what I did to get this and so far no issues.

You can download it right here, download the advanced version so you can make the changes listed above.

I'm not sure, but I think these values depend on the resolution also... charmedangelin has 0 for FOV, but what resolution? Maybe try other values for camera distance...

I remember I had trouble getting it right with that tool, to the point where I gave it up...
