@Miharu-Wow, thank you for sharing. And yes, that is definitely what I want this thread to be. A non-judging, non-arguing, non-random, etc. thread in which we share experiences that have made us stronger. I am so glad that your mother does not let what happened to her effect her life as a whole, and as you said is able to joke about things in a non-serious fashion. I am glad you two seem close and are able to discuss such personal experiences. Thank you again, and I hope that situations such as that never occur again.

@Strawberry-I am so glad to hear your brother did not pass away, that must have been awful for both you and your mother. I would feel the same had he been my child, brother etc. Seeing someone so young, not even have a fighting chance like that. But it looks like he did after all. I am glad.
