Wonderful! Really recognizable
My favourite part of this track is the crescendo(s) between 1:03 and 1:30. |

Thanks everybody! I usually upload the track and continue editing it since I can work on it forever (and I would never upload anything)
In the comments under the video someone mentioned that it must mean that Nicobass is working on the Venice levels. I must say that me making this track has nothing to do with the Dagger of Xian remake It was just me playing with the track. Same as what I did with TR2 main theme, and it ended being a main theme for the DoX. And I did edited it again for the game... BTW here's something I've uploaded few days ago. My TR inspired tracks are also available in audio format at SoundCloud https://soundcloud.com/dean-kopri |

I absolutely adore your take on the Venice Violins Track, but something doesn't resonate like the original.
I can't place my finger on it. Everything you've done is brilliant. - The Staccato Sections - The Dynamic Contrasts - The Addition of the Harpsichord - The Ritardando at the end But, something about the original, maybe the way the echo and reverb made it sound so full is what I'm missing. It almost feels thin in some sections, but still, fantastic work as always. I could never do what you do. So, this is just all analysis from a Music Major that would take forever to compose his own stuff or remakes. So honestly, keep doing what you're doing, because it is absolutely stunning nonetheless. |
