Not surprising really. 360 suffered from the same problems at it's launch.
It's just new technology and it will take a few months to sort out initial bugs and glitches. This is why you should avoid buying a PS3 or any console at launch. |

Really, anything that has a fan in a in-closed area will always have the pontential to overheat.
But I agree with undertaker, it's best to wait awhile after launch so the company can work out the kinks of the console if there is any. |

Not to mention you have to treat your console properly... people complain about consoles scratching discs and all kinds of crazy things, but that's often because they move the units around with discs in them, not to mention they probably mis-use the games themselves. I know people who leave game discs lying around out of cases, pile stuff on top of their consoles, etc. They have a lot of nerve wondering why they're having problems then!
