Slowly working my way through the Atlantis levels.

My Atlantis is nothing like the TR1/TRA Atlantis though.
At first I wanted to give it a Greek sort of look since legend has it, or some versions of the legend anyway, that the Atlanteans were the later Greeks. But then I started using some more colour on anemones and such and one thing led to another...

Anyway, water is an important part of these levels.

In the fully underwater part of the Atlantis setting:

Not finished obviously, since there are still gaps on either side of the disks, but the basic setup works.
Obviously inspired by the TRU round disk doors. Mine don't open up in that fancy way...
This underwater part is not all that colourful: having been worn down by the water and all.

One area inside the ruins:

(The cracks in the lighting on the walls will be fixed with Meta2TR)

Still not finished, but you get the basic idea.
The water on those pillars is flowing up. The orange water at the bottom is deadly.

Looks absolutely stunning! Wish I could play already. Lara looks cute with those flippers.

It's outstanding and breathtaking, it does not even look like our beloved old engine very, very good, Titak what is the % of development?

Thanks everybody!

I've already made changes to that room with the waterpillars.
Changed the wall textures at the bottom for example.
Still struggling to get the right look for the place.

No idea really.
This Atlantis area is made up of 3 levels, which are levels 9, 10 and 11 in the script. Not counting "levels" that are just for cutscenes.
And Lara will finally go to Avalon after having released the little Avalon boat in the "Remnants of Atlantis".
Avalon will be at least 2 levels (knowing myself for hitting limits... ).
So most levels are currently in WIP stages. I haven't started working on the Avalon levels yet.
Once all levels are done, including cutscenes which are not even nearly done..., I'll run the levels through Meta2TR. Which will be quite a bit of work to get done. Not all levels need the same amount of Meta2TR work though, and I hope that the coastal levels, which you visit at sunset and later on at night, don't have to be done twice.

I'm also working on another Manor level, where you get the run around the manor grounds. You can explore the grounds, complete tasks, learn some new moves and collect some secrets.
You can access this level from the main menu and it is not part of the main game. So you don't have to play this level if you don't want to.

And I haven't even started on a title yet.
Or an end cutscene or credits list yet. Still thinking about how to do that this time. Another slideshow or some flyby sequence or...
As for a possible end cutscene, I have been thinking about having it take place in the main hall of Croft Manor again. The gang having tea in front of the fireplace or something cozy like that.
