They should've changed the name of the reboot, but not it's composer. Then I would have at least another good album to listen to. O'Malley and Folmann were such great artists, they really hit the nail with Underworld. Changing the good things seems to be hip nowadays I'm afraid.

(Now I want to listen to the whole soundtrack X) )
Revisiting the soundtrack has reminded me of how great the ambient music is. Very subtle like you say, but also memorable. Colin did a great job of weaving ambient background sounds and music together. My appreciation for this work is growing.

I would love to have either of them back! Or get Wilbert Roget to do another score; the LC:ToO soundtrack was excellent. I even liked what Jason Graves did in the reboot. I can at least remember some of the tunes he composed. RoTR on the other hand...utterly forgettable.

Not to be a Debbie-downer, but I actually preferred both Legend & Anni's soundtracks better. I felt like Underworld was lacking from the moment I first heard the main theme back in 2K8. I can appreciate the production and composition behind it, but it just doesn't click with me as much as the previous two.

I really appreciate underworlds soundtrack, it may not be the best orchestral wise, but it's calming and relaxing sound design is so fitting to the games beauty and keeps the player eager to explore and search for secrets. Sometimes i'd like to just stand around in Thailand listening to the music and the forest
Additionally, i have to say that Underworlds trailer song "Gorecki" by Lamp is really cool and the title song is pretty remarkable if you as me.

the soundtrack was the highlight of the game for me. My favourite pieces especially were:"God Of Thunder," and "Thor's God-Like Strength."

Beat me to it haha

I could listen to this one all day and just meditate, or watch the clouds. It's so serene and calming

I love 50% of the soundtrack. The Thailand ones are very very good as well as some ambient ones and the Rutland's ship track.
The rest are a bit meh.
Legend was more consistent, all the tracks are more or less good and varied. Though there are some tracks in Underworld I love more, but they are few.

^ I wish this was in there more.
"I wonder if anyone's said-THERE SHE IS!!"

I remember getting such strong finale vibes from this. Really overwhelming.

Though the less said about the reality the better.

the tune that plays in the beginning is I think the one track that never made the release.. it also plays when Lara finds the gauntlet at her Father's study..

Perhaps anyone of you know what the track is?

Sadly that track along with several others have never been released to the public and can only be heard in cutscenes. Same with all of the music that plays in cutscenes in Lara's Shadow. All of them are unreleased.
