Wow, I don't think Crystal was trying to be disrespectful at all with the classic Lara.

I think they were having a little fun with the transformation of Lara and gaming technology--Nothing more.

I think I played with that Lara once, but I prefered the other ones more, especially the wetsuit. <3

Because it's ugly. I liked it as an adition and it was a nice wink to Core's game but I don't see any reason to wear it.

Copyright issues with Core Design???
As in using the original model exactly, so they remade it .. shockingly.

I modded it on PC, as did other people, using TR1 textures so she at least had a proper face

It looked so much better then, if still a little fatter than her original TR1 model

I don't see what people's big problem with it is, it looks pretty much exactly the same as the original model to me, just slightly uglier

No, of course not, are you out of your mind? They were obviously disrespecting and mocking classic Lara because they don't have anything else to do and they would achieve a lot by doing that. /sarcasm
