Damn, really?
My apologies! I heard that from someone else who claimed to live in NZ. |

sounds similar to: Trump Wants to Repeal Obama’s Climate Plan Trump reverses Obama ban to allow (his sons’) elephant hunt trophies Trump Moves to End DACA and Calls on Congress to Act This is what happens when piece of **** is in office. None of what the Trump Administration does makes sense and all they want to do is repeal anything Obama related. They don't even give a **** about the people of this country, or in any country, just only about themselves. Lets hope this doesn't pass but expect more crazy crap from the Trash administration. |

NZ is where I want to live one day it's so beautiful This is really frustrating from where we're standing though.. the goddam Internet has no jurisdiction for these kind of laws! They're too new and nobody has ever had a handle on the wicked Web. Lance.. I'm sure you're a smart person but what are you fighting for? Really Last edited by HarleyCroft; 23-11-17 at 08:08. |

While I completely agree with the people opposed to this (see my posts in the Trump thread), I find it fascinating that people get this riled up about how everyone should have access to the internet (which again, I completely agree with), yet are fine with healthcare and education being locked behind a paywall.

If any Americans are having trouble with how to bring this up to family at the Thanksgiving table today just tell them they want to make Netflix and Porn more expensive and harder to use with longer loading times.
Thay should basically make anyone and everyone upset and against taking away Net Neutrality |

Whether this might affect you right now or not, it is legit terrifying. Besides, I can very well imagine governments of other countries following the same trend once this is set in the US.
Stay strong and keep fighting for your rights. |

Like everything else, if there's idiots who would pay for this "premium" service, then these people will get away with it. If everyone decides "well nah actually, **** that", watch it collapse in no time. People seriously need to get better at group economics, and collectively knowing who and where to spend their money with.
I find myself saying this a lot, the fastest way to get these greedy bastards to change their dirty business practices (or put them out of business if they won't) is to pull their money out from under them. Their profit and wealth doesn't come from nowhere, it comes from millions of naive and ignorant people continuing to prop them up, and spending money on stupid overpriced ****. People seriously don't realise the power of their own money, especially as a collective, and that annoys me. It won't change though, because people are stupid and never come together on anything. If that kind of thing ever happens, it'll be an awful day. Something that should definitely be fought against. |
