Wow... been out for over a year, and... this is it?
Didn't think it was that hard. |

I'm actually unsure where to go in the manor to progress, if anyone has a save past that, i'd be grateful.

Hm, nope. Its a good game don't get me wrong but you need to include some sort of hints in certain situations, especially in wide open places otherwise people could be going for hours without even knowing what they are supposed to be searching for in order to open said door or complete said puzzle.

You're right, I did leave the manor rather scarce, with IIRC, no dialog at all directing the player what to do or even where to go. If I remember well, it was due to his sister just moving into the manor and had not yet finished unpacking. Now that I remember it, makes no sense in itself. The two weren't near close to be wealthy enough to afford a manor; but a mere apartment at that. But I wanted the level to have some oomph in exploration.
Then I remember Penelo. |

Full Walkthrough here.
Replaying it after these past years and I see it's strengths and weaknesses, undoubtable improvable on. Kinda gave me the idea to do a remake of this in UE4, we'll see. |
