Simple. Make another room (the water room), and connect it to the first room with a portal. Then in the rooms list box, choose the water room, click on properties and check the box labeled 'Water'.

Go to the main room, press the button "Hide neighbours" - at the bottom right. Then, find the place where you had the portal (it should be empty). Texture the blank parts with a water texture with Translucent (only for TR3 and above or else transparent) selected and Double-side checked.
Good luck |

To make it look even more realistic is to find a series of water textures and animate them (with the Anim Text. button), so it will look like the water ripples Rough idea: Obviously that will be transparent in the level Search for something like 'Tomb Raider Water textures' and use the same method as CelticGuard described. |
