Default Tomb Raider Legend version 1.2 exe

Hi all.

I originally posted this in the TRL forum here http://www.tombraiderforums.com/showthread.php?t=117760
But had no replies at all. So I will try my luck in here

I hope you can help me?

I have just loaded my TRL back into my PC. I noticed the exe version number is 1.0
Does anyone have, or know where I can get a download for the version 1.2 exe?
Or if any of you have the 1.2 version could you send me the exe?

My next question is would the 1.2 exe work with the version 1.0 game?

I downloaded the 1.2 from the above link ( trlegendpatch1_2.zip )
I ran it and now my game does not even start.
"trl.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

It looks like I am un-installing and re-installing tomorrow morning.

This is just a patch though? I was looking for a download for the TRL.exe version 1.2

Run Diagnose.exe and post the report here.

This patch IS trl.exe v 1.2

If your game is legal and properly installed it must fix issues not cause them...

Good morning Alex and abraham.

I obviously did something wrong yesterday. I retried today and everything went fine. ( uninstalled and then reinstalled. )
Below is the startscreen showing version 1.0 in the lower right corner.

I then applied the patch and got this

The reason I wanted ver 1.2 was because I heard it was "better". Could you please tell me what it is that is "better"

oh yes, just to put your mind at rest, Alex. Here are the diagnostic results, before I re ran the patch.
( My games are legal ) But I guess it is wise to be concerned about such things.

This patch can be applied to all disc installed versions of TRL.

- Includes 1.1 Patch that fixed some minor compatibility issues on high systems (european version)
- Fix for ‘High Priority’ task manager (lock up), in addition to fixing the occasional audio stuttering issue.
- Overall improved performance.
- Fixes and improvements made to Lighting when running the NextGen version.
- Implemented a separate ‘walk’ button for Lara.
- Fixed the issues regarding the breakables when running NextGen.
- Fixes made when running the game using a secondary monitor.
- Refresh Rate option now fully operational.
- ATI CrossFire Movie problem has been fixed.
As your game shows it's patched, so it's all OK, paying no attention Diagnostic report says it's v 1.0 still
