They were so so so much more complex than they were in TR1.

I agree what you say about the corridoors, but the puzzles themselves... no. They were outstanding in my opinion.
I agree wholeheartedly .

I loved it, too. You are not alone.

The controls were perfect imo, the stages were gorgeous, and the puzzles and bosses were pretty difficult without a walkthrough.

I'd give anything for them to do the same thing to TR2 and TR3.

I'd love to see them redo TR2 through TR5 in the Legend/TRA engine. That would be worth paying a chunk of money for.

They already have the engine code, they would just have to have their artists/modelmakers and level designers get to work.

They could probably release this as a 4-disc set for the 20th anniversary and make a fair pile of money doing it.

They can stay away from TR2 and LR. Don't want Crystal ruining all three of the only TR games I actually like. I dread to think of the mess they would make, it's unthinkable.

Anniversary is one of my favorites TR games. The part of T-Rex is really complicated and a bit hard even, but
don't be fooled by this, the T-Rex is very smart.

No, it's one of the worst Tomb Raider's in the franchise. As for the T-Rex part, I found that pretty easy.
Im intrigued - which other crystal dynamics TR had puzzles or tombs which were more difficult than TRA?

Please... there's a game called Tomb Raider that was released in 2013. Haven't you seen its puzzles?

I haven't. It has puzzles? Haven't seen any so far, unless you count shooting torches and those little fetishes with arrows.

And where are the gymnastics? God...

Unfortunately, I was too busy throwing shapes and bopping around to legend's techno music.

TReboot is difficult, and has puzzles/platforming more difficult than TRA? Well, each to their own...

Um- the only puzzling thing about TReboot, was a where's waldo version of "identify the challenging puzzle". Im still stuck on that one - has anybody cracked it yet?
