What pisses me off is that she does not move symmetrical.
For example when climbing a ladder, her left foot is moved faster, while her right foot is slower.

The animations? Yes.
The controls? No.

I don't like the overall movement mechanics but some moves, such as the slide or the wall run, I would like to see in the next game. I think it's high time Lara's move set was expanded from 'let's see how many moves we can cram in using the bow' to her actually training herself in parkour etc.

My opinion as well.

Let's just put some bricks in her backpack. (Swipe downwards while jumping in Relic Run) That would be hilarious in a new TR game.

They suggested this in the first batch of post-reboot comics, which I read up until the 11th issue. She was shown doing some parkour training in London, mentioned learning gymnastics in a narration box, and even took a bad guy out with a sort of flip kick. Alas, these things were not followed up in the games, where she remained fairly ungainly and cumbersome and lacking in skill.

Speaking of, regarding the OP: I love her moves and animations in "Relic Run" but they wouldn't mesh with the reboot's world, IMO.

She does some parkour in Rise, like when she runs into cover she sometimes parkours over into cover
