Default When was the standard edition for PS4 released?

Anyone know when the standard version of this game was released? It had to be very recently.

To expand on that, it was released exclusively for Xbox in November 2015, and later on Windows in January 2016. The PS4 version didn't come out until October 2016, and all the DLC had come out by then on the other platforms, so they bundled it into one complete package.

It's a shame that companies feel the need to buy exclusivity like that, especially considering the franchise's first game came to PlayStation (plus Sega Saturn and MS-DOS). Ah well, at least us PS4 gamers got the game and all its DLC at a cheaper price!

Not quite correct. Not all dlc had been released on PC and Xbox. Blood Ties/Lara's Nightmare and the classic skins came out at the same time as the PS4 version, which yes, came bundled.

Oops, my mistake, thanks for the correction!

Oh, to reminisce about the times when you bought a game and everything came with it, you didn't have to wait a whole year for a small new DLC...

By standard edition I meant the one that comes in the PS4 case and not the cardboard sleeve. Is it a store exclusive? I'd much prefer this on my shelf of games as the cardboard version sticks out like a sore thumb. It's taller, wider, and thinner than PS4 cases.

I'm not 100% sure, but I didn't think the PS4 has a standard version. It always came with the art book (but that is in the UK) - so I can't tell you where your image item came from. Even a search on eBay has all art book edition versions. It was one of the complaints that I had last year about wanting to not buy other peoples' art but I couldn't find a standard edition here.

-- Actually, what game box comes in the collector's edition?

And I notice that the USA version has a shiny cover whereas the European cover is plain.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the standard version included in PS4 bundles only?
