You just need to do one thing, CD...
... go play your Thailand level from TR:U.
THIS is how TR should be. Amazing environment, exploring truly stunning statues deep in forbidden areas, a rare bit of deadly wildlife, death defying climbs and jumps... No motorbikes, humans, short levels, magic artifacts, contrived plots, sidekicks etc. Give me a whole game filled with levels that look and play as amazing as Thailand, and you will have the best TR ever. That level proved categorically you can do it without it being a rehash of the first game, so for the love of Lara, do it for the whole game next time! Coastal Thailand ranks up there with the original great moments of the TRex, St Francis Folly, the Sphinx, Maria Doria etc etc. Sadly the rest of the game, while good, was not what we want or expect. |

Completely Agree with you. I played the demo of that level at my friends house after bribing him with an offer of two pints (call me a sucker), and for two hours I was in heaven. After completing the demo to the point of it cutting off, I decided to explore, get secrets, etc.
That is truly how a tomb raider level should be. I dont know how the rest of Underworld Racks up but I like what I've seen, including most of the ending. |

i have the game and i can tell you that aside from croft manor, thailand is like the second boring level. loved the music, very zen though lol the demo is only 1/3 of the whole level. it's only boring for me because i saw too many gameplay vids about so it got stale the level that i think is really like Tr is MEXICO! amazing! EPIC! xD
EDIT: but thailand is very nice xD Last edited by Tomb_of_Darkns; 25-11-08 at 15:51. |

The Thailand level is definitely one of my favourites levels of the game!
It was beautifully lush and gorgeously detailed! The Puzzles were breathtaking, especially the Shiva puzzle! Huge tombs just wiating to be explored. The last room with the bridge, I really loved, it was great! |

Thailand, while brilliant, got wee'd all over by Mexico. Seems more people prefered Mexico to Thailand, so according to that poll - it's Mexico that people want more of. |

As said, I havn't got the game, but from the screens I've seen and what you've just said I really shall savour every second of Mexico when I get it at about December on about this same day...

I loved Thailand because you could just explore and run around without being attacked. Mexico was fun because you actually fought humans and animals.
