What the devil? My report came out today, and it turns out that I've failed all my classes.
All that work for nothing. I'm withdrawing. |

I am really sorry to hear that, especially when you did the work. . I don't know much about american education system, but is it coursework that you failed in, or the exams?

This transcript will never see the light of day to the admissions office of any University I transfer to. |

Though if you know that you have already failed, than I don't see the harm in dropping out. But when you get onto the new course, don't tell them you dropped out of the old one because you were failing, just say weren't interested in the direction the other course was taking you, and you feel that you would feel much better in the course you wan't to apply for. What course are you looking for now? |

For one, I wanted French and Korean classes, which they do not offer. I'm also looking for other classes that would be beneficial to me. The curriculum was also off-putting. I was cautious about this particular community college before I attended. I've decided it's not for me. It doesn't end here. It's only begun. |

I was going for Dental Assisting.
But before you are allowed into the program, you have to take..."starter courses" so that is
But the curriculum was really in poor taste. Last edited by motoleo; 29-04-12 at 22:50. |

So if you can't do a course in Dental Assisting because of the Phychology, can you not just take general subjects, things like English, science, Maths, Computing, Geography, History ect and then go into a more specialised course for uni... like dental assisting. |

It will just take me longer to decide what I really want to do and where I want to go. DA was going to be a stepping block, a LEVEL 1, so to speak, before I went off to bigger and better things. So many people go to school seemingly for no reason, and when they come out, all they have is money to pay. It happens so often. But I need something I can get excited about, a real career. I may still do Dental Assisting. I've tried it as well, but I sense it can get bery repetitive and might make me stir crazy. I need to explore more options. |
