Default Styx - Master of Shadow.

Hey Ya’ll. just curious as to peoples opinions about this game. It’s £9.99 on Amazon and the trailer looks pretty cool. I understand it’s the 3rd game in a series but would this be a good game to play to get into the series? Should I even bother? Let me know your thoughts.

I haven't played Master of Shadow but I did play a bit of Shards of Darkness.

Honestly it's a little unpolished but not a bad game. Definitely an open stealth game that provides a lot of options and very rich, intricate areas to explore and accomplish your objectives.

But I couldn't get into it. The story was barebones, Styx himself isn't very likeable and his attempts at fourth-wall-breaking humour just tear me out of the experience. There are better stealth games on the system.

But for $10? Why not? I haven't played that exact game, but if my experience with the series is anything to go on, I'd say it's worth a try for $10. Not exactly a big commitment.

Thanks for the info! I’ll have a think about it. It definitely intrigues me.
