Default And Cheese Ends Fan Wars for Good . . . .

This is a great article about American cheese: what it is and isn't. It's a great article if you like food science.

But it's this paragraph near the end that really caught my attention:

"For me, it's all about context. There are times when I crave a fancy, true cheese, and there are times when only an oozing slice of American will do. One does not replace the other, and they need not be compared with each other for us to enjoy them both."

Replace "cheese" with any two concepts/fandoms/stans people are fighting about and we've got an end to every fan war ever.

What an idiot. This American cheese apologist wouldn't know good cheese if it got dropped on him from space. It's because of people like him that low quality cheese is flooding our stores. The importance of honest feedback about bad cheeses, shouted randomly on an internet forum, cannot be overstated! American cheese ruined my childhood, and is just an expression of the global SJW agenda.

I'm kidding, of course. A true cheese fan would simply ignore his contribution and continue arguing with someone else for several pages about some minute detail of cheese production regulations.

A thread about cheese!

American cheese cold is like eating plastic, but melted on a grilled cheese is delicious! Now I'm hungry... My only complaint is how many are individually packaged in plastic. Talk about terrible for the environment, not to mention unnecessary! Most food is processed nowadays unfortunately. Well, in 'murica at least. So I'm not surprised about american cheese. That's why it's always best to get food local. I can't say we do with all our food, but we get all our beef locally, and deer from hunting as well. You can taste the difference. Now just slap on some of that processed yellow plastic onto a juicy patty and there you go. All American.

But I digress. I was expecting there to be worse ingredients in the american cheese, so I'm pleasantly surprised.
