Great find! You are correct, i got problems with the trapdoor because of the ladder being on the "front" wall side. What a weird bug.

Hi, is a long time since I’ve been messing around with Dxtre but been curious about this problem you are having with trapdoor in the ceiling I decided to have a test and I’m not having any problem.
I’ve placed a ceiling trapdoor in every 4 walls with its corresponding switch and everything is working correctly.
Not sure what it’s happening at your end, maybe the type of trapdoor object?
In my case I’ve placed the first trapdoor in the floor and raise it to the ceiling just at the edge with the floor of the room above, and the same with the other 3
The version I've use is revision K

Ok I've changed it to revision L and at my test still working ok, the only thing is that Lara keeps climbing into the upper room although the climb sector is only in the lower room.

^ That's a bug of the engine, even on TR4, if there's not a solid sector near the ladder, it makes the whole wall climable

Yes, that was my case too.
In my latest level released I have the same behaviour there:

I checked the editor and the climbable wall is set to Front. Well said, Feder!
If this thread would have been posted some weeks earlier I could have released my level with this issue fixed!

Anyways thanks, will take it into account for next experiencies!

Yes LoreRaider. I guess there will be no problem since it is a bug that has not a global impact on the game!
