I got a PS1 in 1997 purely because I'd seen TR1, I'd never played computer games before. Tried other games but TR was always a favourite franchise and I bought every game on the release date. Resident Evil was close but the movement was clunky and inefficient (somewhat like TRL!!).
Bought a PS2 just to play AOD - what a mistake, I nearly took it back I was so ****ed off. Fortunately, other games like Medal of Honour and Ace Combat maintain a flicker of interest but, after TRL, I'm afraid I won't be queueing up for TRA. |
